Laura Linney

Laura Leggett Linney, born on February 5, 1964, is an American actor. She has received numerous awards like 4 Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards. Linney first made her Broadway debut in 1990 before getting Tony Award nominations for the 2002 revival of The Crucible, the original Broadway productions of Sight Unseen (2004), Time Stands Still (2010) as well as My Name Is Lucy Barton (2020), and the return in 2017 of The Little Foxes. She won her initial Emmy Award in 2001 for the TV film Wild Iris. Subsequent wins came from the comedy Frasier 2003-2004 and the John Adams, a mini-series. John Adams 2008.
