Dakota Blue Richards is an English actress who is best known for her role as Lyra Belacqua from the film "The Golden Compass," as well as Franky Fitzgerald as part of the third generation of actors in British the teen drama "Skins'. There is also a long career of stage performances in shows such as 'Arcadia' and A Streetcar Named Desire. Richards born in London, and a Londoner of birth, grew up along her home on the Sussex coast. She was a part of a few drama classes at her school, but was mostly taking lessons in acting on weekends.
